Pardew Needs Better Strategy For Corners

16 February 2012 13:38
Alan Pardew should consider changing his strategy at corner kicks because our record is the second WORST in the Premiership.

Newcastle have only scored ONCE all season from a corner, and only Aston Villa (who have yet to score) have a worse statistic.

Top of the tree are Manchester City with 12 goals; Blackburn scored 8; followed by Man Utd and Norwich City with 7.

But the Magpies have only let in three, which better than most, and is sixth best in the league.

Chelsea have kept a clean sheet on corners all season, with Sunderland and West Brom one each, Man City and Everton two.

The WORST defence is Aston Villa (11); with Bolton one goal behind on 10.
