Pardew Keeps Saying The Right Things - But Enrique Exit Expected
Alan Pardew insists he remains hopeful contract rebel Jose Enrique will stay with the club. There were reports on Friday that Enrique was at Anfield having a medical ... but obviously those were well wide of the mark. Alan Pardew: "I keep looking at him and smiling, hoping he is going to stay."He smiles but hasn't signed a contract yet." Liverpool are still interested, and I'm sure The Spaniard still has his fingers crossed that move goes through. But Pardew ALWAYS says the right things hoping his star players will stay. It doesn't always work - as we saw with Andy Carroll and Kevin Nolan - but who knows this time.
