Fabricio Coloccini, Cheick Tiote, Demba Ba and Yohan Cabaye were all linked with other suitors throughout the summer.
Alan Pardew: "We have got some great players here and I have kept them intact, and that was my priority this summer.
"We have brought in one what I would call a first-team regular in Anita, and I think that will take us forward to a degree or two, and some young players who will develop.
