Pardew Happy With Transfer Dealings
Despite losing Kevin Nolan, Alan Pardew is happy with summer transfers. Demba Ba and Sylvain Marveaux moved to St. James Park this weekend, and the Toon boss has other irons in the fire. Turkish international striker Mevlut Erding is said to be leaving PSG, but it seems that the Tottenham boss Harry Redknapp has decided to make a last-minute bid to persuade him to move to White Hart Lane instead of Tyneside. Alan Pardew: “Erding has always been on our radar – he’s a very good player but that is all I will say at the moment. “We are working extremely hard to make deals happen and I’m pretty happy with how things have gone in the transfer window so far.”
