Pardew French Revolution Falling Apart!

Signing a team full of Frenchmen was never going to work ... was it? Alan Pardew is about to see his French Revolution disintegrate around his ears.

Yohan Cabaye went on strike at the start of the season, missing three games and defying team orders.

And now Mapou Yanga-Mbiwa "made a mistake in joining Newcastle United", claims his former Montpellier president Louis Nicollin.

The French defender has struggled for his best form since signing for the Magpies in a £6.7m deal in january, as have most of the French squad.

Yanga-Mbiwa has struggled to adapt to the rigours of the Premier League, and was hauled off at half-time against Everton after a disatrous 45 minutes.

Nicollin believes he could end up back at Montpellier.

When asked about the 24-year-old, Nicollin told L’Equipe: “I’m sorry for him. I love him a lot. He has followed the advice of his agent and he was wrong to leave.

“Don’t worry, he’ll come back to Montpellier.”
