Pardew: 'Fans Want To See Better Players Than We Have'!

Alan Pardew's pleaded with Newcastle United's to "keep the faith" after the club's WORST performance since relegation when they played Brighton at the Amex Stadium.

Alan Pardew: “It is pretty obvious we need players in.

“The message from myself is to keep the faith with the team that we know we’ve got.

“When we play the young players, they stay with us. It’s difficult, but they need to stay with us now.

“What they want to see is better players in a black and white jersey – there’s no doubt about that.

“All I can say to them is my staff, and my medical staff in particular, are working every minute of the day to get them back.

“They’ve been brilliant. It’s difficult for us. It’s difficult for the staff and the players.

“We know that we’re in a difficult situation – we’re not going to hide from that. We need our best players back on the field, and we need to recruit one or two more as well.

“I think that was evident at Brighton.”
