Alan Pardew: "I thought the penalty incident before half-time - was it, wasn't it - unsettled us a little bit.
"It affected us second half and we showed a bit of inexperience.
"Overall I have to say I'm very pleased we got through.
"Of course it's exciting about the nights coming up.
"We've managed to just do enough. If we can get six points and qualify for Europe out of the start we got I'll be absolutely delighted."
