Pardew Allows Three To Move

Alan Pardew has sanctioned loan moves for a trio of his top prospects.

Pardew has given the green light to Northern Ireland under-21 international Shane Ferguson, Mehdi Abeid and Haris Vuckic (pictured right) to move to second tier clubs to get more games under their belt.

All three would have been kept on board as long as Newcastle’s Carling Cup adventure continued, but Blackburn Rovers put an end to that.

Alan Pardew: “Haris Vuckic and Mehdi Abeid – there is a good possibility they’ll go out. They’ve done absolutely brilliant and they should be playing. (Shane) Ferguson too.

“Absolutely it’d be Championship, I wouldn’t go lower than that.”

“Sammy Ameobi is a bit different.

“He offers – especially with Obertan at the moment being injured – something different. We’ve got to see how bad Obertan’s infection is but Sammy isn’t going anywhere.”
