One Player Leaves The Toon Camp

Hang on, didn't Alan Pardew say ...

.... Paul Dummett was staying at Newcastle and would NOT be returning to St Mirren on loan?

Yep. Well there's a U-Turn.

The defender made 19 appearances for Danny Lennon’s men in the first half of the season before returning to Tyneside earlier this month.

The 21-year-old came on as a substitute as Newcastle were beaten by Brighton in the FA Cup to make his Toon debut.

However he has returned to Paisley to play for the League Cup finalists.

Dummett has scored two goals for the club, netting against both Dundee United and St Johnstone, and could be involved in the final itself.
