Odemwingie 'Too Old' For Newcastle!
Peter Odemwingie's talks regarding a new contract at West Bromwich Albion have stalled, but we hear rumours of him coming to Newcastle are wide of the mark. The Nigeria international was the Baggies' top scorer last season, but Mike Ashley has allegedly told Alan Pardew to give the player a wide birth because he is 30-years old and has no "resale value". Wigan Athletic had a £1.5million bid rejected before the weekend. Baggies boss Roy Hodgson the Latics' offer was well short of his valuation of the player.
