Now Would Be A Disaster Time To Drop Demba Ba!

Alan Pardew insists he will keep faith with Demba Ba in Newcastle United's crucial final-day fixture against Everton this Sunday ... and he knows it makes sense!

The Senegal international has gone 13 games without notching and last scored in the 2-1 win over Aston Villa back on February 5 at St James’ Park.

But he is STILL hot property, and, with 'all things bright' coming from London - Chelsea, Spurs and Arsenal are considering their options.

Dropping him for the big fixture would hardly do Newcastle's hopes of keeping him any good.

Ba broke into laughter when his shot against Chelsea crashed against the bar at Stamford Bridge last week, showing he knows luck is against him.

Alan Pardew: “Who knows? He might get the most important goal of the season at Everton on Sunday.

“As I’ve said all along, I still fancy he’ll score before the end of the season.”

Ba and Cisse have already beaten last season’s top scorer in Kevin Nolan, who grabbed 12 goals.

Ba’s tally is 16, Cisse's 13.
