The Peruvian was set to walk out on the club a few weeks ago and call time on his professional playing career having found himself frozen out of the first-team picture.
Solano subsequently spent a period away from the club before returning, but there has been no official word from the club on his situation.
The latest twist came as the 37-year-old was named in Barron’s second-string team, but failed to show at the rendezvous point for the coach journey to Humberside.
Barron: “Nobby was selected in the team but did not turn up at the pick-up point. We’re concerned about that, so efforts have been made to contact him.”
