No grudges for Novak after Newcastle clash

Geordie Lee Novak insists he will bear no grudge with Fabricio Coloccini after a stormy encounter between Huddersfield and Newcastle on Tuesday night. The 21-year-old Town striker got more than he bargained for when he turned out for a `friendly' against the club he supported as a boy when he was left needing stitches in his chin following a clash with the Argentinian. However, the former Gateshead frontman had few complaints. He said: "It was a feisty game. What happened was just part and parcel of football. "You are always going to get knocks and stuff like that. There were handshakes at the end of the game still as normal. "I didn't see Fabricio Coloccini at the end of the game, but if I saw him, I would shake his hand, I have no problem with that. I wouldn't hold a grudge against anybody over that."
