Nile Ranger denies charges of assault and being drunk and disorderly

Newcastle striker Nile Ranger has denied four counts of assault and one of being drunk and disorderly in court today.[LNB]The 20-year-old appeared in Newcastle Magistrates' Court to plead not guilty to the charges.[LNB] Arriving in court: Newcastle player Nile Ranger pictured on Thursday[LNB]He has denied two counts of common assault, two counts of assault occasioning actual bodily harm, and a separate count of being drunk and disorderly.[LNB]Ranger is accused of the alleged assaults of two revellers and two police officers outside a bar in the city during the early hours of August 27.[LNB]He was also appearing on a drunk and disorderly charge on October 30 after allegedly arguing with his girlfriend in the city centre.[LNB]He will next appear before magistrates in January.
