Newcastle could make more changes against Wolves

Rafael Benitez is likely to use the depth of his squad once again as Newcastle go in search of a sixth successive Sky Bet Championship victory against Wolves.

The Spaniard made four changes for Tuesday night's 6-0 rout at QPR with Ciaran Clark, Isaac Hayden, Ayoze Perez and Aleksandar Mitrovic replacing Chancel Mbemba, Jack Colback, Mohamed Diame and Dwight Gayle.

Colback was an unused substitute at Loftus Road having overcome a hamstring strain, while Yoan Gouffran started despite concerns over a hip problem.

Central defender Mbemba missed out with a slight knock but is expected to be fit for the weekend, and that means Benitez will be missing only long-term absentees Rob Elliot and Rolando Aarons, while Massadio Haidara continues his quest for match fitness after recovering from a knee injury which has sidelined him for 11 months.

Wolves boss Walter Zenga is likely to make wholesale changes after accusing his players of giving up in their 4-0 home defeat to Barnsley.

The manager is yet to name an unchanged side this season and Dave Edwards and Cameron Borthwick-Jackson could return while Romain Saiss, Silvio and Ola John are waiting to make their debuts.

Nouha Dicko is closing in on a comeback from a knee injury after being out for a year but he has returned to training.

Mike Williamson (glute) is out until 2017 while Michal Zyro and Jordan Graham remain sidelined with long-term knee injuries.
