Newcastle To Release Pancrate!

01 April 2010 11:03
According to reports from St James' Park in recent days, Fabrice Pancrate will not be playing in England's top-flight next season with Newcastle. His current contract expires this summer and although Newcastle have an option to extend it, it is one they are unlikely to take up. Pancrate, as good a player he is, has not set St James' Park alight, despite making a perfect start with a contender for 'Goal Of The Season' against Watford. He was involved in a training ground bust up with Joey Barton last week, although it doesn't take much for Barton to get on his 'high-horse'. But it followed on from the earlier fight between Andy Carroll and Steven Taylor and was the LAST thing Chris Hughton needed as the eyes of the nation were centered on his side.
