Newcastle To Play Rangers!
Reports from Scotland today suggested that Newcastle United could play a pre-season friendly against Rangers at Ibrox. The Magpies are set for a training camp in Ireland during July but are understood not to be playing any games. Chris Hughton has also already confirmed that Newcastle will take on League One side Carlisle United at Brunton Park, with the final pre-season fixture list still at the planning stage. Newcastle are expected to return for pre-season training in the second week of July. The new Premier League season will kick off on August 14.
