Newcastle make one change for Preston trip

NEWCASTLE boss Chris Hughton has made one change to his starting line-up for tonight's away game at Preston.[LNB] Ryan Taylor returns to the starting line-up in place of Marlon Harewood, with Hughton reverting to a 4-4-1-1 formation as he attempts to guide his side back to the top of the Championship table.[LNB] Andy Carroll will start as a lone striker at Deepdale, with Kevin Nolan playing in the hole between midfield and attack.[LNB] French midfielder Fabrice Pancrate is amongst the Newcastle substitutes after his international clearance came through this morning following his signing on Saturday.[LNB] PRESTON (4-4-2): Lonergan; Parry, Mawene, Collins, Davidson; Jones, Sedgwick, Chaplow, Tonge; Mellor, Brown.[LNB] Subs: Chilvers (gk), Shumulikoski, Carter, Henderson, Parkin, Nolan, Elliott.[LNB] NEWCASTLE (4-4-1-1): Harper; Simpson, S Taylor, Coloccini, Enrique; R Taylor, Guthrie, Smith, Gutierrez; Nolan; Carroll.[LNB] Subs: Krul (gk), Kadar, Geremi, Pancrate, Lovenkrands, Harewood, Ranger.[LNB]
