Newcastle legend Keegan battles with owner Ashley over £8m pay-off
Kevin Keegan will continue his battle for £8million compensation from Newcastle when his arbitration hearing resumes today.
Keegan turned up yesterday with legal representatives but failed to reach any agreement with lawyers acting on behalf of Mike Ashley and the Championship leaders.
Keegan quit Newcastle just over a year ago, later launching a claim for constructive dismissal. The club argued Keegan breached his contract.
