Newcastle complete defender deal
NEWCASTLE United have completed the permanent transfer of Mike Williamson on a three-and-a-half-year deal from Portsmouth.[LNB] An emergency loan arrangement had enabled the defender to make his debut in Wednesday night's 2-0 win over Crystal Palace at St.James' Park.[LNB] Williamson put the finishing touches to his United transfer today and is expected to face Leicester City on Saturday.[LNB]
