Waddle has insisted that Alan Shearer's Newcastle squad has both the experience and ability to win their fight for Premier League survival over the next four games. [LNB]"I am sure they would bounce straight back if they went down it would be interesting to see what would happen with the credits. [LNB]"But the players can't think about that. They have just got to go out and do a job. They have experience in that squad and they have goal-scorers such as Obafemi Martins, Michael Owen and Mark Viduka. [LNB]"They have people who can out the ball in the back of the net and you need that. The problem is getting the ball to them. That's the big problem." [LNB]His old club, currently third-bottom of the Premier League, will face Liverpool before taking on Middlesbrough and Fulham at home before finishing the season at Aston Villa. [LNB]"They never win at Liverpool and I can't see them getting anything there but I still think they will get out of it," Waddle said. [LNB]"Hull might beat Stoke but I can't see them winning any more games I definitely think Middlesbrough will be gone along with West Brom so it up to Newcastle to get the wins they need. They have got Middlesbrough coming up which could be a very important game." [LNB]Tyneside-born Waddle, who made 170 appearances for Newcastle before a £590,000 transfer to Tottenham in 1985, continued: "Football is about confidence. If you were in a relegation battle and you had Owen, Martins and Viduka you would be confident of scoring goals [LNB]"It's up to the rest of the lads to keep clean sheets. Defence has always been a problem - not just now it always has been. [LNB]"But you have players there like Damien Duff, international footballers who are experienced players who have been around a long, long time. [LNB]"There aren't many raw players in the Newcastle squad and that's why I can see them coming through it. [LNB]"They have to use that experience and these players have to stick their chest out and really give everything they have got because they have enough in the squad to survive." [LNB]
