Newcastle manager Chris Hughton has denied claims he demanded Andy Carroll's withdrawal from England's friendly against France. [LNB]The Newcastle No 9 made his England debut on Wednesday despite suffering a groin injury in his club's home draw against Fulham four days earlier.
