Newcastle back in Premier League
NEWCASTLE UNITED will be playing Premier League football again next season.[LNB] Nottingham Forest's failure to defeat Cardiff City at the City Ground means that Newcastle can't finish third in the Championship and promotion has been guaranteed.[LNB] The Magpies' players, due to kick-off against Sheffield United at 7.45pm, have just been given a rousing reception by the Geordie supporters that have already entered St James' Park.[LNB] Forest's goalless draw closed the gap to 14 points but with only four matches remaining, Newcastle can start to think about top-flight football again.[LNB]
