New Contender For Toon Armband
Fabricio Coloccini says he wants to skipper Newcastle United. Fabricio Coloccini: “It was a good thing for me to captain the team in pre-season. “I have said already I will do it again if I was asked. “I have had two years here now and I feel I can organise the defence. “Most defenders like to organise anyway whether they are captain or not, and I am no different. I was thrilled to get the captain’s armband in Deportivo. To me that sort of thing is like getting a present. “I have told the manager I would love to do it again sometime. “I can do it if they need me to again, and it would be something which would be a dream come true in the future.”
