Pulling the piss at Owen's season of nothingness at the Britania Stadium, where he took his wages but gave nothing in return.
Just like his time at St James' Park, where each goal cost Newcastle a staggering £1.3m in wages and transfer fee.
On Saturday Owen was giving the run down about how he always kept his concentration and gave advice to those strikers struggling to get form.
Shearer jumped at the chance to knock him down: "Yeah! It's a shame you didn't do it more often at Newcastle!"
Owen laughed.
Gary Lineker said: "Haaa, you finally got that one in. Let's leave the programme on that note."
