Morrison worry for Baggies

West Brom manager Roberto Di Matteo has revealed James Morrison is unlikely to be fit for the Championship opener against Newcastle on August 8. The Scotland international recently went under the knife to clear up a heel problem which forced him to miss the last five matches of last season. Di Matteo told the club`s official website: "He`s very frustrated and disappointed because all players want to start the new campaign from the first day of pre-season and getting a whole pre-season under their belt. "That`s very important for the season ahead. But James will be back, it`s just a matter of time. "It`s too early to say whether he`ll be ready for the Newcastle game but two weeks is probably a bit too short a time span to get a pre-season under his belt."
