Alan Pardew has been dealt another pre-season blow after Cheick Tiote was forced to pull out of preparations for the friendly with Leeds United this Sunday. Tiote has a red-tape problem surrounding his visa and must reorganise his pre-season schedule. As the Newcastle players set off from Columbus to JFK airport in New York to head home from their USA tour,Tiote instead headed for Ghana, with the Ivory Coast Embassy based in Accra, to try to resolve the issue with his visa. It adds to the problems that Alan Pardew has faced in recent weeks. He was dealt a treble blow when Joey Barton, Nile Ranger and Yohan Cabaye were all denied entry into the United States for this month’s American tour.
