Money-Grabbing Remy Will Never Sign For Toon!

Well ... we (NU-Mad) have told you Toon fans for the last year that money-grabbing Loic Remy will not sign for Newcastle until Mike Ashley scraps his wage cap.

And you know what ... I'm back Ashley on this!

He is here on loan, and as he is desperate for a place on the French plane heading to the World Cup next June (IF they qualify), we will get some mileage out of him.

Good for him - good for Newcastle United. But don't for one second believe you will get any loyalty out of him.

He made a substitute appearance for France last night, playing out the last 20 minutes in the 3-0 win over Finland.

But Remy insists he is not looking beyond his loan spell with Newcastle.  The 26-year-old joined the club in the summer on a season-long loan from relegated Queens Park Rangers.

The question of whether Newcastle will finalise a permanent deal is now being raised, although the player refuses to make any firm commitment on his future.

"I am really enjoying it at Newcastle, but what happens next I don't know," he said.

"For the moment the question of staying beyond my loan period is not in my head - it is a good question, but we have time to decide."

Will he sign for us? Will he bollox.
