Moncur Hits Back At 'Parasite' Owen!
Bob Moncur tells Michael Owen: "You were a failure at St James' Park." He was the biggest money-grabbing parasite in the history of Newcastle United Football Club ... and Michael Owen (pictured above) got everything he deserved when he returned to St James' Park to face the fans and had 50,000 fans telling the little shit just what they thought of him. This week he said he would rather stay at Old Trafford and pick up £100,000 per week in wages and NOT play ... rather than take a wage cut to move elsewhere and play. That just about sums up the little tosser. Michael Owen: “Just to answer some of your tweets. Prefer playing less often in a top team than every game in a poor team. “Been there and didn’t enjoy it. “Training every day at a high standard keeps you performing at a high level. I’m sure I have a lot to offer and so does the boss. Buzzing!” Bob Moncur: “Owen has been disrespectful to the Newcastle fans with his comments. “He didn’t do the shirt justice and he didn’t do himself any justice. “For me, it is just sour grapes because he was such a flop at St James’ Park. “He failed to do his job when he was at the club. He was paid to score goals for us – and when we needed him to do that in the final few games of the season we were relegated, he didn’t, did he? “Was it Newcastle United’s problem he couldn’t score goals? “Was it the Newcastle fans’ problem he couldn’t score goals? “Of course it wasn’t – I can understand why our fans are so unhappy and why Derek Llambias has a problem with this. “In many ways I am sick of hearing about Michael Owen, and I am surprised he is wasting his time on Twitter. “He has to accept he wasn’t a success at Newcastle and if he does think we were a poor team, then he was a big part of it. “Hopefully this summer we will get some new plasyers in who know what it means to play for such a great club.” Derek Llambias: “Michael is the most expensive signing Newcastle ever made and I’m disappointed with his comments. “Under Kevin Keegan’s management he was offered an extension of his contract at £140,000 a week, which he did not take. He was already on £133,000 a week. “What did Newcastle United get out of it? His time here cost the club some £40m at something like £1.3m per goal.”
