Moaning Wenger Launches Appeal!
Arsene Wenger, as expected, has launched an appeal against the sending-off of central defender Laurent Koscielny. Anyone else would take it on the chin because the 25-year-old was obviously the last defender when he fouled Nile Ranger on the edge of the box. The FA said: "Arsenal FC have today submitted a claim of wrongful dismissal, following the dismissal of Laurent Koscielny for the denial of an obvious goal-scoring opportunity." The claim will be heard by an independent regulatory commission tomorrow. Wenger spent the entire 90 minutes of the match making animated gestures at the referee, fourth official, and anyone else who was taking any notice.
