Mancini Won't Be In Queue For Coloccini!

Despite reports today in the Daily Star - Manchester City will NOT be moving to sign Toon skipper Fabricio Coloccini.

Daily Star: "MANCHESTER CITY are eyeing Newcastle captain Fabricio Coloccini – after being turned down by Jan Vertonghen.

"The Premier League champions want to add a centre back to their squad and joined the chase for £10million Vertonghen.

"But Ajax’s Belgian defender said “no” because he wants to join a Premier League club where he will be a regular starter.

"City have switched their sights to Coloccini.

"City already have three Argentina players in their squad – Sergio Aguero, Carlos Tevez and Pablo Zabaleta."

We can promise Toon fans that City boss Roberto Mancini will NOT target a player 30-years of age, and if even if he does want experienced competition and cover for Vincent Kompany and Joleon Lescott, the Toon skipper would never consider a move to sit on the bench.
