Manchester City to splash £45m on Cruz, Given and Toure

Manchester City[LNB]held talks in London yesterday to pave the way for a £45m spending spree that could secure Roque Santa Cruz, Kolo Toure and Shay Given over the next 48 hours.[LNB]Delegates from their Abu Dhabi owners gave the OK for the club to up their bids. City were going back to Blackburn last night to offer around £20million for Cruz.
