Man Who Punched 'Neddy' Pleads Guilty!

26 September 2013 18:45
A man accused of punching a horse, after Newcastle United's home derby last April, has pleaded guilty to a charge of violent disorder.

He claimed he only tried to palm away the horse - and said it started the fight - but ITV film showed the full story.

We reported on this website he didn't have a hope in hell of winning the case, especially as he ADMITTED to it on "Look North", saying "I have three dogs and feed a fox that comes on a night - I love animals, I don't know what got into me".

Barry Rogerson from Bedlington appeared at Newcastle Crown Court this morning.

He will be sentenced next month, and before then he cannot attend games featuring Newcastle, Sunderland or England.
