Man Utd To Dump Owen In The Summer!
According to reports today, Sir Alex Ferguson will be dumping former Toon striker Michael Owen in the summer ... which is obviously a massive blow to Owen's World Cup hopes. The news from Manchester today - Michael Owen and Ben Foster will reportedly be the biggest names leaving Manchester United with a summer clear-out said to be planned at Old Trafford. But Ferguson has hinted he could "rest" Wayne Rooney for the Carling Cup final against Aston Villa on Sunday ... which must give Owen a fighting chance of being involved at Wembley.
