A man has been arrested on suspicion of setting fire to Liverpool striker Andy Carroll's Range Rover. The vehicle was torched last October while Carroll was staying with Kevin Nolan in Ponteland, Northumberland. That was part of bail conditions after being charged with assaulting ex-girlfriend Laurie Henderson, an 18-year-old lingerie model. Graffiti relating to the charge was daubed on a garage wall at Nolan's home. Northumbria Police said they arrested a man at Newcastle Airport as he flew back into the country. A spokesman said: "On Tuesday police arrested a 33-year-old man from the Whitley Bay area in connection with an arson that happened in Darras Road, Ponteland, on October 20, 2010." He has been bailed until August.
