Man City Have Bigger Fish To Fry Than Taylor!
We thought the end of the transfer window would end any transfer speculation, but the newspapers have a two-week international break to try and fill space with shite. Transfer-listed Newcastle defender Steven Taylor is apparently going to sign for Man City in January ... although the money-bags club had the chance to sign him last week ... and did bugger all about it. Could this be Taylor's agent AGAIN spreading rumours that Chelsea, Arsenal, Liverpool, and every club with money to spend, are after his little 'money earner'? It is all absolute BULLSHIT. Taylor was put on the transfer list and there was not even a sniff of an offer. The player insists he is only concentrating on getting back to fitness - and is ignoring speculation. The 24-year-old central defender is out of contract at the end of the season, and at the moment he would be free to open talks with any potential new employers in January. Taylor: "All I am doing is concentrating on getting myself fit and making myself available for selection."
