ewcastle managing director Derek Llambias has apologised for the club's lack of communication with the fans.[LNB] The St James' Park faithful have been left in the dark regardng matters behind the scenes ever since Kevin Keegan sensationally walked out on the club back in September 2008.[LNB]The Magpies board quickly found themselves under fire following the shock departure of the popular manager, and subsequently retreated into their shells.[LNB]Few members were seen at games, while owner Mike Ashley did his utmost to find a buyer for the club.[LNB]However, that storm appears to have passed, with manager Joe Kinnear bringing stability in the dugout and Ashley back in the stands.[LNB]Llambias admits the whole saga should have been handled differently, but insists all those connected with the club are now pulling in the same direction.[LNB]"Maybe we have made mistakes on the communication side," he told the Evening Chronicle.[LNB]"We freely admit we have made mistakes and we put our hands up.[LNB]"But now we're in a position where Mike is back on board and we're not selling the club.[LNB]Business plan"Our intention is to go back on the track we were on before with our business plan.[LNB]"We think that is the only way forward for the particular club.[LNB]"And I think it will be a model going forward for a lot of Premier League clubs.[LNB]"So we're now trying to put the stability back into the club as far as that is concerned.[LNB]"We apologise and I personally apologise for the miscommunication.[LNB]"Mike has gone out and made some generic statements. [LNB]"We try to do generic statements through the club press office which people have seen.[LNB]"We haven't got anything to hide.[LNB]"We're realistic about where we need to be in the next year or so."[LNB]
