Magpies handed Beye boost

Newcastle have been handed a 'huge boost' with the news that fans' favourite Habib Beye is back in full training.[LNB] The Senegalese defender has been out of action since Boxing Day after suffering ankle ligament damage in a challenge with Wigan midfielder Lee Cattermole.[LNB]It was initially feared that the injury could cause him to miss much of the season but the 31-year-old has been working hard to return.[LNB]He set himself a target of returning for the Arsenal game on 21st March and he has now taken a big step to achieving his aim.[LNB]Caretaker boss Chris Hughton told the club's official website: "Habib is back in full training which is a huge boost.[LNB]"He's not only a good player but he's also a very good character around the place who is extremely popular.[LNB]"We will need people like Habib this season and we're delighted to have him back."[LNB]
