Magpies boost as James Perch has three-match red-card ban cut to one on appeal

Newcastle defender James Perch has had his three-match ban reduced to one after a successful appeal.[LNB]One-match ban: Newcastle's red-carded James Perch [LNB]The full-back was sent off during a reserve-team fixture against Manchester United on Monday, but the Magpies questioned the severity of the initial punishment.[LNB]A Football Association regulatory commission today agreed and reduced Perch's ban to one game from April 4, which will mean he is unavailable for the Barclays Premier League trip to Aston Villa six days later.[LNB]Meanwhile, teenage midfielder Ben Sayer admits revenge is on the minds of Newcastle's  youngsters when they travel to take on Manchester United under-18s tomorrow.[LNB]The Red Devils knocked The Magpies out of the FA Youth Cup at the fifth round stage last month with a 1-0 win and Sayer told nufc.co.uk: 'Without a doubt, we'd like to get revenge over Man United.[LNB]'They're a great team so we'll have to play well. It depends on what teams both sides have out, but we've got a good chance.
