Magilton proud of Hoops

QPR boss Jim Magilton declared himself satisfied with a 1-1 draw at Newcastle despite being denied victory by a late equaliser. Rangers were leading through Ben Watson's seventh-minute strike, the midfielder's second goal since arriving on loan from Wigan. Visiting goalkeeper Radek Cerny saved a penalty from Danny Guthrie, but Newcastle did level 20 minutes from time through Marlon Harewood to increase their lead at the top to three points and Magilton said: "A draw is probably a fair result. I am very proud of the players. To a man, they were outstanding."
