Mackems Not Big Enough To Hold Onto Stars?

27 May 2012 17:12
The one 'plus' in a poor season for the Mackems was the form of playmaker Stephane Sessegnon. But he looks to be on his way.

Manchester City have emerged as surprise suitors (according to Mirror Sport) and City manager Roberto Mancini has held a long term interest in the player, going back to him PSG days.

City faces competition for the versatile attacker with Arsenal and Spurs also keen on the 28 year old while rumours that the Benin International was keen on a return to France have alerted Marseille and old club PSG.

Obviously Martin O’Neill will be reluctant to part with Sunderland’s player of the year for 2011/2012 but the newspaper reports "an offer of £12 million could be enough for Sunderland to open talks".
