Lovenkrands taking it easy

ewcastle striker Peter Lovenkrands has admitted that he does not know what the future holds.[LNB] The Danish international has signed a contract until the end of the season after joining on a free transfer from Bundesliga side Schalke in January.[LNB]The 29-year-old scored his first goal for the club in a 3-2 win over fellow strugglers West Brom last weekend; a win that lifted the club to 13th in the table, four points away from the drop zone.[LNB]The former Rangers man has enjoyed his short spell so far at St James' Park but is refusing to be drawn on his long-term future.[LNB]"I take it nice and easy and I am not thinking about where my future will be at," he told Onside.dk.[LNB]Content"But as it feels now, I don't want to be at any other place or team than here."[LNB]Lovenkrands also pointed out that he had already established a good bond with manager Joe Kinnear.[LNB]The Magpies boss missed the Baggies game after feeling unwell and after a number of tests it was decided he would need a triple heart bypass.[LNB]The former Wimbledon manager is set to undergo the operation on Friday, with the expected recovery time up to eight weeks.[LNB]"He is good, really good. I've had a really good relationship with him," he added.[LNB]"He makes a good atmosphere working with his assistants."[LNB]
