Striker Peter Lovenkrands is determined to help Newcastle make an immediate return to the Premier League. The Denmark international rejoined the Magpies on transfer deadline day having played 12 games for the St James' Park outfit at the end of last season. The 29-year-old, who has signed a three-year contract, believes United have the quality to be involved in the promotion shake-up. He told the club's official website: "I'm delighted to be back and I'm very pleased to be here. It was the best move for me and my family. I loved my time here, I love the club and I love the fans. "But I can't forget that we were relegated. It was devastating and it was horrible to be part of it. "But that's why I'm back here - to help us get back up and I'll do everything I can to make that happen."
