Peter Lovenkrands has hinted that he would be open to extending his stay at Newcastle United.
The Danish striker joined the Magpies from Schalke in January on a deal that expires in the summer.
Lovenkrands, 29, has steadily impressed during his time on Tyneside and his goal against Middlesbrough on Monday night was his third in 10 Premier League appearances.
Newcastle are currently outside the relegation zone on goal difference with two games of the season remaining, and Lovenkrands is enjoying his time at St James' Park.
He told TV2: "It is a great club to be in, and I hope that we stay up and that I can be a part of that.
"But you never know what will happen in the world of football - if they wish to keep me, or whatever will happen."
