Lovenkrands - It will be tough

Peter Lovenkrands has admitted that Newcastle are in a difficult situation as they battle for Premier League survival.[LNB] The Danish winger moved to Newcastle from Schalke during the January transfer window and netted his first goal for the club in last week's 3-2 victory over West Brom.[LNB]The result lifted the Magpies to 13th in the table but they remain in a precarious position just four points above the relegation zone.[LNB]Newcastle have a tricky set of fixtures coming up, with Everton, Manchester United, Arsenal and Chelsea the next four visitors to St James' Park.[LNB]Lovenkrands accepts that it will be hard to avoid the drop but he is looking forward to the challenge.[LNB]"It is of course extremely difficult, but there is a possibility to do something, I believe," Lovenkrands told Onside.dk.[LNB]"It's going to be tough, but we got three points against West Bromwich at the same time as all the rivals lost points, and that was really important.[LNB]"We have many tough games coming up, and a hard schedule, so it will be interesting."[LNB]
