Llambias WILL Hold Back Carroll Money!
Derek Llambias has broken Newcastle United's silence on the club's summer spending plans this summer saying the money could be held back for JANUARY! Alan Parew is taking stick for suggesting most of the £35m received for Andy Carroll has been spent ... even though only ONE signing this summer has cost a figure (and that was offloaded by the sale of Kevin Nolan to West Ham). Llambias has long been known to tell "porkies" as he continues his stance as being Mike Ashley's puppet. Ashley doesn't say a single word - and Llambias talks out of his arse - and they have long been seen as joke figures on Tyneside. Derek Llambias: “I can assure everyone that not a single penny of the £35m has left the club and neither will it. It is all going back in. “We have acted early and we have got the players we wanted, but none of them have been cheap. "We have paid good prices for them. They certainly weren’t free transfers, there are fees and wages to consider. “It is our responsibility to make sure we look after the club responsibly. “If we spent all the money on players this summer, what are we going to do in January if we need to bring somebody else in? We are using the money sensibly.” It is another kick in the balls for Pardew - who says he will "bring in two more big signings this summer". The Toon boss is obviously not on the same wavelength as the club owners. What he WANTS and what he GETS are two different things.
