Krul Had The Champagne Snatched From His Hand

Tim Krul was handed the 'man of the match' champagne on Sunday ... but had it taken away ... as Sky TV made a hash of the award. It was meant for Andy Carroll. However, it was just a blip in an amazing day for the Dutch goalkeeper. He pulled off the save of the day in the Premiership, but thanks his defenders for giving him a clean sheet. Tim Krul: "If you've got confident players in front of you it's a great feeling. "It's a great base and hopefully we can build on that. "We always knew the league was the main priority. "Of course getting beaten 4-0 at home (by Arsenal) wasn't the best thing, but I think we fought back with three wins on the trot, and now onto Blackburn on Wednesday. "We've got our targets and hopefully we can keep rising above them, we have to keep our heads clear and have to focus."
