Kinnear Will Decide Gosling's Future NOT Pardew!

Dan Gosling is expects to leave the club this summer, but that is down to Joe Kinnear.

The 23-year-old midfielder has been tipped to go out on loan as he enters the final year of his Newcastle deal, but it is suggested he would be happy to move on for regular football.

As it stands, Joe Kinnear is "assessing" players, and he will decide (NOT Alan Pardew) who stays and goes!

Gosling's agent, David Hodgson: “I have spoken to Newcastle and everything is technically up in the air.

“There should be a decision made in the next four or five days.

“Newcastle United have to give the go-ahead on where they would like Dan to go.

“I think what he needs to do is play football.

“He knows he has got to win everyone over.

“He needs to play at the beginning of the season in somebody’s starting line-up.

“Is that going to be at Newcastle? I don’t think so at the moment.

“He has a mountain to climb but he is not giving up.

“He doesn’t want to leave. He has loved every single minute of it (at Newcastle).

“Dan is only going to have a long-term future there if he is given the chance to perform every week.

“Villa’s interest came and went and it won’t be in Newcastle’s best interests to loan him to a club in the same league.

“The relationship with the club is fantastic, although a footballer’s relationship with his club is always better when he is playing every week.

“He has never knocked on anybody’s door saying he wants to leave.

“He has worked and worked and worked, and if you asked anyone at the club, I am sure they would say that.

“He arrived with a cruciate so it was amazing that Newcastle showed the commitment to him – although there were other clubs interested.

“He missed the first year of his four-year deal through injury.

“Then the manager who signed him (Chris Hughton) left.

“In came Alan (Pardew) and he had to find the right formula for him so he signed new players.

“Dan has had his moments but it is just a continuous mountain he is climbing.

“He will get back to the level he was at.”
