According to the Mirror[LNB], Ramos, who was sacked by Spurs following the worst start to a season in the club's history, has been lined up to replace Joe Kinnear at Newcastle. [LNB]Spurs were four points adrift at the bottom of the Premier League, after taking just two points from eight matches, before giving the Spaniard the boot. [LNB]However, Ramos' stock remained high in Spain, where he enjoyed incredible success at Sevilla before moving to White Hart Lane. [LNB]As such, Real Madrid appointed him cartaker coach at the Bernabeu, following the sacking of Bernd Schuster. [LNB]This may have raised a few eyebrows in England, but in Spain it was viewed as a sensible move on the part of Real. [LNB]However, Ramos' contract with the current La Liga champions expires at the end of the season, and reports suggest Real want to bring in Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger as their permanent manager this summer. [LNB]With Kinnear having undergone heart surgery, the managerial position at St James could become available, and Ramos said: "My priority is with Real Madrid, but I would also like to have a clear idea about the future. [LNB]"Just because I left Tottenham, that does not mean I cannot return to the Premier League. That league still holds many challenges for me."[LNB]
