Jonas Gutierrez glad he heeded Diego Maradona's advice to stay with Newcastle
Jonas Gutierrez has admitted it was Diego Maradona who persuaded him to stay at Newcastle at the end of last season and help take the club straight back into the big time. He told me that everything would depend on how I was playing and not where I was playing and that added to the commitment the club showed to me made my mind up to stay.
